The Quality Management System at an Englewood, Colo., company has given E&M Sales a supplier rating of “Excellent” based on its supplier-rating process. According to buyer/planner, this company's rating process takes into account two performance measurements for each supplier: quality and delivery.

“This process supports the concept that suppliers are an integral extension of our Quality System,” the buyer/planner says. “Our suppliers impact the overall quality and performance for our current and potential customers.”

The company's rating system is rigorous and considers anything below a 91% rating “unacceptable.”

 

Based on first-quarter data recorded between 12/24/09 and 4/2/10, E&M Sales earned 100% in both quality and delivery categories.

Aspen Brewing Company came to
